Siṃhavāhinī, “she who rides the lion”, is the name of Durga, who meets danger unflinching. Two Yalis, the guardian beasts South Indian temples placed at their thresholds, rise face to face around a sunburst disc: not her mount, but her sentinels. Beneath them a hexagon of tiger eye, six sides for six directions, holds a whole world in one frame, and a single garnet, red as a pomegranate seed, crowns it.

For the one who leads with courage and still stays open at the centre. Tiger eye keeps the watch. Garnet keeps the fire.

Garnet: A root chakra gem of vitality and grounding.

HERITAGE
Siṃhavāhinī, “she who rides the lion”, is the name of Durga, who meets danger unflinching. South Indian temples placed the Yali, part lion, part elephant, part serpent, at their thresholds as guardians.

THE DESIGN
Two Yalis rise face to face around a sunburst disc: not her mount, but her sentinels. Beneath them a hexagon of tiger eye, six sides for six directions, holds a whole world in one frame. A single garnet, red as a pomegranate seed, crowns it.
